RA2TRK Version 1.00
Copyright '91 by Ulrich Bartelt
Ra2Trk is a quick and dirty program that converts your
Remote Access Userbase into REMIND.SYS.
Ra2Trk needs the following files:
USERS.BBS in the directory SET RA= points to.
USERSXI.BBS "
RA2TRK.CFG " (only in automode)
REMIND.SYS in the current directory or in the
directory SET FD= points to.
Ra2Trk reads the userfile and appends users with a valid
birthday to the remind database.
To run RA2TRK, there must already exist a RIMIND.SYS file.
If you don't made it, go to TMSETUP and include a less one
entry !
There are two modes to run Ra2Trk:
I. Startup mode
Don't make any RA2TRK.CFG file. Just invoke RA2TRK and you
will be prompted for security level, subject, filename and
your zone, net, node.
RA2TRK will append *ALL* entrys of your userfile with a
valid birthday to REMIND.SYS.
II. Automode
You *MUST* have a RA2TRK.CFG file witch will contents the
answers you have given in mode I in a plain ASCII-file. Here
is my example:
5<CR> Security level
I remember<CR> Subject
BBSBIRTH.REM<CR> Filename
2<CR> Zone
241<CR> Net
5800<CR> Node
CR means you have to press [ENTER].
RA2TRK will search now for new entrys in your userfile. It will
compare the users firstdate with its own filedate and will only
append users who have logged on *NEW* after this date. To hold
the date of it's last run, it will change the timestamp of
RA2TRK.EXE.
NOTE: *Never* run RA2TRK.EXE more than one time a day !!!
